Overview
A home in Tel Aviv
Florentin Tower is the 16-storey tower of Florentin Square, on the corner of Herzl Street and Derech Shalma in the Florentin neighbourhood of south Tel Aviv. It contains 86 apartments of 3 to 5 rooms, served by a grand lobby and a gym. Occupancy is scheduled for June 2028 and construction is under way. Designed by architect Ilan Pivko, the complex brings together four buildings and the tower around a pedestrian piazza of about 1,900 sqm. The ground floor is given over to commercial use, with shops, cafés and restaurants planned around the square, while curtain walls bring in light and louvered panels provide shade. A 1935 building, the former Hamashbir Hamerkazi, is preserved within the complex; Electra is the construction company and Cityel the developer. The site stands 900 metres from Rothschild, 500 metres from Levinsky Market and about one kilometre from Tel Aviv beach. The neighbourhood is home to galleries, restaurants, markets, pubs and clubs, and is gaining schools, kindergartens, early-childhood centres, a community centre and a country club. Prices are available on request.
